Full Measure helps you take accepting students to a new degree, and our team is here to make sure you ace the implementation!
For a complete overview of getting started with your ASE, please review this guide. Below you'll find a condensed version speaking to language to use in your content card.
The best-written mobile acceptance letter content is succinct and energetic. Brevity is important, as almost all students will receive and read their letter on their smartphone (as a reminder, the initial message and link are sent via SMS), and most of these students are accustomed to being inundated with short-form, high-quality content. As a rule of thumb, see if you can make your point in a phrase or sentence, rather than a paragraph (like this one).
This article covers language for:
1. Deposits/Next Steps
2. Campus and Virtual Tours
3. Financial Aid
It's important to include a prominent call-to-action for students to submit a deposit/visit a portal to confirm their registration. We want to make this easily accessible for students to take the next steps to enroll, rather than searching for it on your website. The fewer hurdles there are to jump, the more likely they are to reach your finish line (aka, the first day of classes!)
When it comes to writing this text, avoid words like 'pay,' 'fee' or 'money,' (or list a monetary amount) which can be off-putting to students. Instead, opt for phrases like 'enroll here', 'commit today' or 'join the class of [year]' for a positive impression.

One of the biggest blockers toward getting students to attend college is tuition. In tandem with your notification of acceptance, you want to make actually attending as tangible as possible. This relies heavily on how you present financial aid offerings. Make sure students are aware of all kinds of aid they may qualify for, including grants, loans, scholarships and tuition reimbursements
This is separate than encouraging students to submit their FAFSA. To make the process easier for students, include your FAFSA code. There's no need to go too deep into how to submit the FAFSA, unless it's different than the general, or link to the general website. All links from your letter should stay within your content and website. If you have a page on your website about the FAFSA, or better yet, all types of financial aid, it would be better to link to that landing page of your website.

We all know it's important to wear masks around campus (and everywhere, really!) but your letter should be more aspirational and positive than focused on the unfortunate impracticalities of our time.
It's better not to delve into your campus's Covid policies within the acceptance letter. The only area where it's really relevant is campus tours, and these questions should be answered on your website. Rather than diving into how Covid makes it harder to visit, focus on what you've made easier: virtual tours. Link students to take a virtual visit, or on campus, if possible.
The same goes for images with students in masks. While this may be a reality of their future attendance, we want to keep the experience of their acceptance letter as positive as possible. While photos of large groups of students may be triggering for some, wide-open shots of your sprawling campus, and small groups of students/campus life photos will help paint a positive picture of campus life.
