Question: I had threads in my inbox, but now they are gone. When I go to that student's page I can see that the messages are still there, but I don't understand why they aren't in my inbox anymore.
Answer: We have logic in place that will only show messages in your inbox that have an inbound message as a response from a campaign or batch message communication, or if you have a direct message thread going on with the student. If you have a conversation going on with a student, and then they receive a campaign message from you, that thread will no longer appear in your inbox until that student sends an inbound message on that thread.
We hold up to 100 messages at a time in your inbox. That means 100 messages total, not 100 unique threads. If you have 100 recent messages with one student, we will only show that student's thread in your inbox.
We also exclude opt out phrases from your inbox so as not to flood you with students that are opting out. All other inbound messages will display in your inbox as students are texting in.
