Full Measure Education’s (FME) June release focuses on tools & features designed to help institutions better serve their students.
Enabling institutions to communicate with their students via FME’s Two-Way Messaging interface signals the opening up of a critical communication channel. Additionally, giving institutions deeper insight into their prospective students interests and activity will better arm admission and advising teams to engage and assist students throughout the enrollment process.
As with all releases, we continue to take a customer-centric approach, and have incorporated a number of suggestions to both staff & student reported issues.
FME’s Two-Way Messaging enables students and institutions to communicate on an ad hoc basis. With this feature enabled, students will be able to use SMS messages to communicate with a department or an admission or academic advisor. Staff and faculty members will be able to view and respond to these messages from directly within our staff interface.

Advisor view of the Messages screen showing a list of messages from students
Institutions can use the Admissions Details to view up-to-date data about their prospective students. With an SIS or CRM integration implemented, staff and faculty can access information about inquiries and applicants for the selected term.

Staff and faculty members can use Course Move to edit a student's provisional course plan by moving a course from one term to another. By pinning the course to the selected term, courses in the plan can be re-sequenced accordingly while taking the student's rate of attendance and other pinned courses into account.
